Overview
The majority of the cases undertaken by Cooper, Sandler, Shime & Schwartzentruber LLP are referred to the firm by other civil and criminal lawyers from across Canada and the United States. Mark J. Sandler is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. All of the members of the firm are members of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association. Many are members of the Canadian Bar Association – Ontario (Criminal Justice Section), and the Advocates’ Society.
Our Approach to Referrals
We make it our practice to keep referring lawyers apprised of the progress and status of their clients’ criminal cases. We also recognize the importance of conducting a criminal defence in a manner that does not defeat a client’s related commercial, civil, immigration or family law interests. This co-operative approach is key to protecting the client’s full panoply of concerns.
